Friday afternoon: met Godma Karen for lunch at Centrepoint, it was great meeting up with her after a few years of her absence in Macau =p
(alrite, so Friday afternoon doesn't really count as part of the weekend yet but oh well =p)
Sat morning: played badminton with good ol' frens, RT and HX ... and enjoyed myself thoroughly ... i absolutely adore playing badminton, in a proper badminton court with a net, mind you, not just outdoors where wind is blowing =p and it has been nearly 6 months since i last played badminton ... and what's more, it was with good frens, what can be better? =p
btw, is anyone interested, when school starts, i can book the courts in PGP and we can make this 'badminton social' a weekly affair of sorts? believe me, the whole-body workout is way worth it!
Sat afternoon: went for Rainmaker final meeting and wrestled with the photocopier at bv, even with nata's and lio's persevered attempts and help, the machine continued in its termperamental mood, refusing to let paper out of its manical grasps, causing countless paper jams in all corners of the machine =p
eventually, managed to zap a couple of pages for a while, proving the temporary fruitfulness of our attempts ... however, before we could rejoice and dance in joy, mean ol' machine decided to get cranky again =p
finally, zayam managed to outwit the machine at its 'hide-and-seek' attempts of hiding jammed paper under its many sleeves, and after nearly more than 40mins of battling with the machine, 30 pieces of photocopied documents were finally printed out =p
and of course, we could attend the meeting after the long wait =p
my sincere thanks to the brave 'warrior-ness' and valiant two 'warriors' for the well-fought battle!
sat evening: FINALLY, met up with my cousin, mf, who's back from sydney on a holiday, for a movie (Mean Girls, which in my opinion was really witty and enterntaining) with my sis ... mf and family also sold 9 cds, praise the Lord! and special thanks to mf, uncle and auntie chew, and second auntie for all the help at selling the cds =p
(in case you didn't know, mf was the one who designed the cd cover, which has received much praise from all who have bought the cd!)
sun morning: church as usual, loved the songs we sang that morning =)
sun afternoon: before i knew it, it was time to sprint off to peninsular to zap stuff for sr, hop into zayam's car (which was incidentally very accurately timed at the junction!), had a wonderful lunch with cc and zayam at Baker's Inn (and the walnut cheesecake which i shared with cc, mmmm, delicious! and coming from someone like me who's not really into cheese, that's an amazing mouthful of a compliment!)
sun evening: rainmaker dua - a huge entertaining success! (except for a teeny weeny glitch of an indiv)
sun night: j treated all of us to a wonderful dinner at swensen's in holland v. thanks j! wanted to have crayfish spaghetti which is my personal swensen's fav, but having had yummy spicy arriabiata at Baker's Inn in the afternoon, i settled for my second fav, Curry Chicken baked rice ... to top it off, i had a single-scoop Thin Mint ice-cream .... mmmmm ... scrumptious!
and then bed, because every aching bone in my back, arms, legs went on strike!
the 'hangover' effect: pleased to report that only the right lower arm and right lower leg continues their weekend protest today on mon morning, prob due to the use of muscles in badminton that are not usually exercised, for the former at least =)
